Hi John....
Welcome to the forum!
No offense John, but speaking of mysteries, It is a mystery to me that more people that visit this site, do not follow the instruction, "Please *search* for your question before asking it" and, "Whenever possible, postings should include supporting Bible references."
I am guilty of this myself, so please don't think I am thinking too highly of myself: I don't! This is just a friendly reminder to help insure your experience here is edifying to you, and all who read along.
As you can see by the fact that some of your posts have been deleted by the powers that be, in their vigilant monitoring of the posting's on this forum, and, from what some others have already posted to you, John, opinions and speculations don't carry very much weight around here. :-)
I hope and pray, that your experience here is a good and lasting one.
Shalom and
God bless
John |

"You will bear me witness, my friends, that it is exceedingly seldom I ever intrude into the mysteries of the future with regard to the second advent, the millennial reign, or the first and second resurrection. As often as we come across it in our expositions we do not turn aside from the point, but if guilty at all on this point, it is rather in being too silent than saying too much." --Charles Spurgeon |

Hi John,
Thanks for the scriptural references, but I still fail to see these as a direct answer that satan is the one referred to in Rev. 6:8!
How did you arrive at your conclusion?

This still doesn't show the first horseman is the antichrist. |

The verb form of the the adjective purrhos for the red horse and dragon is purrhazo and is seen in Matthew 16:2-3. Therefore, you must content the red sky is Satan. Just because the color is the same doesn't link them.
Sins are decribed as scarlet and red like crimson
... scarlet is one the colors for the materials used for the tabernacle (Exo 38:23)
... rams' skins dyed red is also used for the tabernacle (Exo 39:34)
... Exodus 27:16 shows crimson (purple) is also used for the tabernacle
I can show the same about other colors.

John,
You still haven't answred the question! With all due respect, I really don't have the time or desire to read Gundry's work. What I was asking YOU, is to provide a scriptural framework to support YOUR answer! If you can't or won't, please don't waste anymore time on this subject!

I'd highly encourage you to familiarize yourself with this Forum. I think by doing so you'll fare much better. It is customary- and instructed so by our sponsor, Lockman- to provide a solid biblical basis for one's answers. Mere one line replies and unsupported notions, don't give anyone a clear idea of where you're coming from or how you arrived and such a conlusion!
The following guidelines might be helpful:
1. This post is biblically based and whenever possible, I have included Bible references to support it.
2. This post is not intended as a personal attack on the authority of the Bible or on other users of this forum.
